Clare founded Clare Chalmers Limited and is a non-executive director of Brickendon Consulting. An expert practitioner with extensive experience of board evaluation and development, she is able to provide insight on a range of corporate governance issues.

Clare is also particularly well-placed to provide insights around composition, dynamics and boardroom diversity. During a 20-year career in investment banking, culminating in COO roles at CSFB and Lehman Brothers, Clare devised and ran 360-degree evaluation processes and managed in-house coaching, mentoring and training programmes. She also devised new management and client audit systems, as well as metrics measuring progress against strategic goals, focusing on profitability and
cost efficiency.

Previously, Clare was Chief Executive of IDDAS, a highly regarded board evaluation practice, and prior to that launched Rathmullan Associates to provide independent, bespoke and confidential services, including client audits, compensation and appraisal systems and board reviews.
